Welcome to indiabirds!

Here, I showcase images of just over 700 species of birds found in the wild in India, for your viewing pleasure. It took me nearly two decades (1999 to 2019) to capture these images as I travelled to various habitats in India .

I enjoyed traversing the Himalayas, the Deserts, the Plains, the Islands, the Coasts and even the Sea in search of opportunities to photograph birds.
