Hi there,
yes I have seen many Babbler nests at low heights. For example I photographed a Common Babbler which had built its nest in a shrub. The nest was less than two feet from the ground. Recently, Yellow-Billed Babblers built their nest in my garden in a mango tree at a height of about 6 feet. At present a Yellow-eyed babbler is nesting and its nest is about two feet from the ground. Last year I shot some Jungle Babblers whose nest was in a shrub, and the nest height was about 10 feet from the ground.
12M does sound a bit unusual to me...

HI,
I have seen some reed warblers nesting at such low heights... but the jungle warblers nope I am not sure of. I'll try to find it out in the meanwhile. bye.
