Hi there folks,

I am a filmmaker who is researching a script. I have a character in my film who is birder and goes birding in Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, Kerala and on Pathiramanal Island (across from Kumarakom) on the Vembanad Lake.

I was wondering if any of you have gone birding in that part of Kerala. I would like to get some first-hand experience on this subject. I am interested in the birds you saw on the island and also some geography like vegetation and size of the island etc.

I have checked on birdskerala.com and found articles on birding trips to Kumarakom but not specifically on Pathiramanal island.

Would appreciate any help.
